Dance and Drama are an important part of life at Hillview and are offered through a wide range of opportunities for students to participate and perform.
These include lunchtime dance groups, assembly performances, the Talent Quest, end-of-year concerts, drama classes, and our bi-annual school production, to name just a few.
Dance and Drama are also available as subject options for Year 9 and 10 students, providing opportunities to further develop their creativity, confidence, and performance skills.

Space left for the next production.

A visit to our classrooms reveals the wide range of artistic talent and creativity on display throughout Hillview. From Year 0, students are encouraged to explore and develop their artistic skills through a variety of creative experiences.
In our Primary and Middle School (Years 3–8), students participate in engaging projects that showcase both their imagination and learning. These include creating artwork for the Boats project, Landmark studies, constructing Endangered Animal Dioramas, and exploring the story of The Birth of Aotearoa through visual art.
Visual Art is also offered as a subject option for Year 9 and 10 students. The curriculum provides opportunities to develop skills in printmaking, drawing, painting and sculpture, as well as taking part in field trips that enrich their artistic learning.
Note to school - I have used a different method of displaying these art photos. This is because they are artworks and I didn't want to crop them to make them all uniform in size. This gallery method best suits here. I will remove this message when it has been acknowledged.
